The Warriors qualified for the quarter final stage by finishing second in Pool D. They won two of their three pool matches.

Batting first in their last encounter against Border, the Warriors posted a mammoth 228-5 in their 20 overs. Matthew Breetzke hit a whirlwind 80 runs to set the tone for an imposing total. Diego Rosier (33) and Tristan Stubbs (46) continued the momentum as they surpassed the 200 run mark.

The target was never really under any real threat. Border struggled to keep up with the required rate as JJ Smuts took 2-48.

A lacklustre second half of the innings will worry the Warriors though. They drifted in the field and allowed the opposition to score 207 runs to make the game tighter than it should have been.
