Race 1 - WHO DO YOU LOVE (3)
WHO DO YOU LOVE is the best bet on the programme. She was an impressive winner on debut over this distance at Kenilworth. She raced from just off the pace, quickened up well and won with a ton in hand. The daughter of Rafeef found plenty of betting support that day which suggests that she was showing good work at home. She could be anything and if not too green around the turn, she can remain unbeaten.
Race 2 - DANCETILDAYLIGHT (3)
DANCETILDAYLIGHT ran a fair race when finishing fourth in the Grade 3 Prix Du Cap last time. Her last victory came on this course. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is the best weighted runner in this contest and from her good draw of three, she should be the horse to beat.
Race 5 - POLAR WORLD (3)
POLAR WORLD finished 1.45 lengths behind GOING UP last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and there should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line. However, she raced wide around the turn that day which didn’t help her chances. The daughter of William Longsword gets the cheekpieces fitted for the first time which should keep her mind on the task at hand. If jumping on terms, she can return to winning ways.
Race 7 - SUDDEN STAR (1)
SUDDEN STAR is having his first run for the Brett Crawford stable. He has won once and finished third twice from four starts over this distance. The son of Sudden Storm takes a drop in class and if settled into his new surroundings, he should be too good for this field.
Race 8 - HAN SOLO (4)
HAN SOLO was an impressive winner in his last two starts over 1400m at Kenilworth. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. The blinkers have done the trick on the son of Master Of My Fate and with Richard Fourie retaining the ride, he can notch up the hat-trick.
Verdict
Who Do You Love (Race 1) is Magic Tips' best bet at Durbanville on Tuesday.
