Griquas vs Western Province Predictions
While these teams have the exact same record this season, Western Province have had the luxury of playing the worst team in the tournament, the Griffons, twice. Both sides come into this match off the back of wins though, but I expect Griquas to be too good at home.

Head to Head
Last season, Griquas beat Western Province 38-29 in Kimberley.
Griquas Form
This is Griquas final game of the season, so they will want to go out with a bang. It has been a disappointing campaign for the Kimberley side as they are six points off the playoffs and cannot make it anymore.
With just three wins in nine fixtures, Griquas have been quite inconsistent throughout. However, they have been victorious in two of their last three games.
After smashing the Griffons 59-7 away, the Kimberley-based outfit lost 47-24 to the Bulls away from home. Last weekend saw Griquas produce their best performance of the season, beating the defending champions and local rivals, the Cheetahs 44-31 at home.
Griquas Injuries & Team News
Griquas are likely to pick a very similar side to the one from last weekend.
Western Province Form
Western Province, the most successful Currie Cup side in history, is in a similar boat to their opponents. They cannot make the playoffs anymore and are simply playing for pride on Friday.
A disappointing season indeed where only three wins were achieved, two of which came against the Griffons, a side who has conceded 50+ points more often than it has rained in Cape Town this winter.
However, the only other win Province achieved this season was against the Pumas at home and that was last weekend. They won the game 39-30 and looked very good while doing it.
Western Province Injuries & Team News
Province should be looking to reward the players who were very good last weekend. They are unlikely to make unforced changes.
Verdict
Griquas are backed to end their season on a high with a victory over Western Province.
