Argentina vs South Africa Preview & Tips
South Africa have selected their strongest side this weekend. They should be too strong for the visitors again with the -14 handicap looking an apetising prospect.

Head to Head
South Africa have won nine of their last 11 matches against Argentina. When the two teams met last weekend the Springboks won 32-12 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Argentina Form
Argentina have been superb over the last 18 months and achieved some historic results. They are unbeaten in six of their last eight matches, a run that includes two draws against Australia and their first ever win over New Zealand in 2020.
Prior to arriving in South Africa, Los Pumas also beat Wales in a two-match series. The first match ended level but Los Pumas were comfortable winners by 33-11 in the second encounter at the Principality Stadium.
They arrived in South Africa full of confidence but were brought crashing down to earth last weekend. The hosts beat Argentina 32-12 in what was a extremely poor performance by the South Americans.
They failed to match up to the hosts’ physicality and their set piece got worse as the match progressed. What is perhaps more concerning for Argentina is that South Africa rested 10 first choice players for that match.
Argentina Team News
Argentina have dropped star flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez this weekend. Domingo Miotti will start with Sanchez on the bench.
South Africa Form
South Africa can do no wrong at the moment. After hardly playing any rugby after their 2019 Rugby World Cup win, the Springboks have come out firing in recent weeks.
They lost the 1st Test against the British & Irish Lions but won the subsequent two 27-9 and 19-16 to clinch the series. It was a physical series which left many wondering how the Springboks could get up for a match a week later against Argentina.
In the end, there was nothing to worry about. Despite making 10 changes, South Africa were dominant from start to finish against Los Pumas, winning 32-12.
South Africa Team News
Jacques Nienaber made 10 changes for the starting lineup last weekend but has returned closer to his strongest side for Saturday.
Scrumhalf Cobus Reinach is the only backline player to retain his place. Handre Pollard, Willie le Roux, Cheslin Kolbe, Lukhanyo Am, Damian de Allende and Makazole Mapimpi all return.
Up front Marvin Orie makes his international debut alongside Lood de Jager at lock. Fellow debutant Nicolaas van Rensburg will come off the bench.
