After a 1-0 home loss to SuperSport United, coach Stuart Baxter was sacked with Arthur Zwane taking over. He oversaw three defeats in a row prior to a 1-0 home win against Marumo Gallants.

Their last two matches saw a fine 1-1 home draw with champions Mamelodi Sundowns and a tight 1-0 win at Sekhukhune United. Rama Mphahlele got the winner from a set-play in the first half.

Chiefs are down to the bare bones for this match. Cole Alexander is suspended in midfield and all of Keagan Dolly, Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic and Dumisani Zuma are absent in attack.

Centre backs Siyabonga Ngezana and Erick Mathoho are out injured. Kgaogelo Sekgota, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Sabelo Radebe are all struggling with illness in midfield.

Swallows Form

The Dube Birds have won just twice in 15 matches. They sit 15th in the PSL and are set for the relegation playoffs as it stands.

The side have strung together a decent run of late. Successive draws preceded a 3-2 home win against Baroka. After a 1-0 home loss to AmaZulu, Swallows scored a last-gasp penalty in a 2-2 draw at SuperSport United.

Their last match saw a 0-0 home stalemate with Chippa United. Swallows threw on extra attackers whilst Chippa brought on extra defenders in a one-sided affair.
