Left winger Nkanyiso Madonsela is in great form and will start. Pogiso Mahlangu and Tshediso Patjie are pushing to start on the opposite flank after a big impact in the last match.

Yusuf Maart will anchor midfield and Nyiko Mobbie will play at right back. Both players were involved with South Africa in World Cup qualifiers this week.

Cape Town City Form

City have looked much harder to beat under new coach Eric Tinkler. They have lost just once in eight matches this season and have reached the MTN8 cup final.

A 3-0 home loss to Stellenbosch saw the side concede two late goals. A 0-0 draw in the league at Swallows followed before thrashing the same opponents 4-0 in the MTN8 semi-final second leg to win 4-0 on aggregate.

Their last match saw a fine performance in drawing 1-1 at home to Orlando Pirates. They trailed 1-0 but dominated thereafter and got a deserved equaliser through Mduduzi Mdantsane’s 54th minute penalty.

City have a fully fit now and are expected to use a 3-4-3 formation once again. Abdul Ajagun could play as a false nine with Fagrie Lakay as a wide forward.

Edmilson Dove could start at left back. Terrence Mashego may be rested after playing for South Africa against Ethiopia.
