Jan-Lennard Struff vs Carlos Alcaraz Predictions
Carlos Alcaraz is huge favourite to progress but all four previous encounters between these two players have gone to a deciding set. I am backing this to be a four-set match with Alcaraz to win 3-1.

- Jan-Lennard Struff Form
- Carlos Alcaraz Form
- Jan-Lennard Struff has won his last 2 matches in 4 sets.
- Jan-Lennard Struff has taken at least 1 set in all 4 matches against Carlos Alcaraz.
- Carlos Alcaraz is the 2-time defending Wimbledon champion.
- Carlos Alcaraz took 5 sets to win his 1st round match.
Head to Head
Struff won his first ever match against Carlos Alcaraz back in 2021 at the French Open. In their three matches since then, Alcaraz has won all three. However, there has never been a straight sets win between these two players.
Jan-Lennard Struff Form
Jan-Lennard Struff has not had the best time of it recently. He was knocked out in the first round of the French Open in four sets. That was followed by a second-round exit at the Boss Open and another first round loss at the Terra Wortmann Open.
However, Struff has found some sort of form on the grass at Wimbledon. He has won his first two rounds with both matches going to four sets. In the first round, the German beat Filip Misolic 6-2 5-7 6-3 6-3.
In the second round, Struff caused a major upset, beating world No.25, Felix Auger Aliassime. After losing the first set, Struff won the last three to secure a match against the defending champion.
Carlos Alcaraz Form
Carlos Alcaraz is looking for a hat-trick of Wimbledon titles and going by the year he has enjoyed, no one will put it past him.
He had a tough first match against Fabio Fognini, a match Alcaraz eventually won in five sets. The Spaniard hit top form against Oliver Tarvet in the last match, cruising to a 6-1 6-4 6-4 win.
This will certainly be another tough test for Alcaraz but probably one that will do him good over the course of the tournament.
Verdict
This match is backed to see four sets with Alcaraz to win 3-1.
