Amanda Anisimova is looking to venture into the WTA top 10 for the first time after being ranked way down last time. The 23-year-old has shown constant improvement on all surfaces.

Anisimova started strong at Wimbledon, easing past Yulia Putintseva and Renata Zarazua in straight sets before 3 sets victories over Dalma Galfi and Linda Noskova.

In the quarter-final, Anisimova defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-1 7-6. In the semi-final, Anisimova fought against the odds to beat Aryna Sabalenka in three sets.

Iga Swiatek Form

Iga Swiatek has had a poor year by her standards. She has yet to win any WTA title and could only make the semi-finals at the French Open on her favourite surface.

The Pole has, however, been superb on the grass at Wimbledon thus far. She has only dropped one set thus far, that came in the second round against Caty McNally.

In the semi-final on Thursday, Swiatek cruised past Belinda Bencic. The 24-year-old hardly broke a sweat in a 6-2 6-0 demolition of the Swiss.
