Anisimova comfortably won her first two rounds against Yulia Putintseva and Renata Zarazua. She was then taken to three sets by Dalma Galfi in round three. Another three setter followed in the round of 16 against Linda Noskova.

In the quarters, it was one-way traffic with a 6-1 7-6 victory over Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
