Aryna Sabalenka vs Laura Siegemund Predictions
Siegemund has played some great tennis over the last week at Wimbledon, however, she doesn't have a strong pedigree against top players. Sabalenka's record in slams is second to none, so I can only see one winner here.

- Laura Siegemund Form
- Aryna Sabalenka holds an 11-1 record in Grand Slam quarterfinals.
- She has won 23 of her last 25 matches at the majors.
- Laura Siegemund has a 0-4 career record against world No. 1 players.
- She has a 2-1 record against top 10 opponents in 2025.
Head to Head
Sabalenka has beaten Siegemund in both previous encounters in straight sets. Both of their head to head matches took place in 2019.
Aryna Sabalenka Form
Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the Wimbledon quarterfinals with a straight-sets win over Elise Mertens, 6-4, 7-6. It was her fourth consecutive straight-sets victory this week, with nearly every match featuring a tiebreak.
This marks Sabalenka’s 11th consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinal, a streak that began at the 2022 US Open.
She has now played in 12 Grand Slam quarterfinals overall, with her only defeat at this stage coming against Mirra Andreeva at the 2024 French Open.
The world No. 1 has compiled a strong grass-court record, although she is still searching for her first title on the surface.
Laura Siegemund Form
Laura Siegemund ended Argentine qualifier Solana Sierra’s breakthrough run with a 6-3, 6-2 victory in the fourth round. The German delivered a composed performance, hitting 19 winners to just 11 unforced errors.
Earlier in the tournament, Siegemund notched impressive wins over three consecutive top-50 opponents — Peyton Stearns, Leylah Fernandez, and Madison Keys — without conceding more than six games in any of those matches.
With this latest result, she becomes the oldest player in the Open Era to reach the Wimbledon quarterfinals. It is a remarkable milestone, particularly considering her past struggles on grass.
Verdict
Sabalenka is in great form and has a dominant record in slams this year. She has also made five finals on the WTA tour. I am backing her consistency to win through.
