World Sports Betting is giving cricket bettors the chance to double their winnings if their team makes quick work of the opposition in an international Test match.

The WSB Early Test Payout promotion will be available when South Africa face Australia in the first Test at Kingsmead in Durban from Friday, 9 October.

Place a qualifying pre-match bet on either South Africa or Australia to win the Test and, if your selection wins the match within three days, WSB will double your winnings in World Coins.

With two strong bowling attacks preparing to meet at Kingsmead, the promotion adds another angle to one of the most anticipated Test series of the South African summer.

How does the WSB Early Test Payout promotion work?

The WSB Early Test Payout promotion applies to pre-match single bets placed on the Test Match Winner market.

Your bet must be placed before the start of Day 1. If the team you back goes on to win the Test within three days, World Sports Betting will double your winnings in World Coins.

For example, if you back South Africa to beat Australia and the Proteas complete the victory on or before Day 3, your winning bet will qualify for the Early Test Payout promotion.

The offer applies to international Test cricket and is one of several sports-specific promotions available from WSB.

You can find the bookmaker's latest offers, welcome bonus and registration details on our WSB promo code page.

South Africa v Australia first Test

The Early Test Payout promotion is particularly relevant this week as South Africa and Australia begin their three-Test series at Kingsmead.

The first Test starts at 09:30 SAST on Friday, 9 October, with the match scheduled to run until Tuesday, 13 October.

South Africa come into the Test with momentum after winning their last three matches in the format, while Australia have won eight of their last 10 Tests.

The Proteas also have recent success against their visitors to draw on. South Africa defeated Australia by five wickets in the 2025 World Test Championship final at Lord's to claim their first WTC title.

Our South Africa v Australia first Test predictions favour the Proteas to win at Kingsmead, with South Africa priced at 2.15 when the preview was published.

Could South Africa v Australia finish inside three days?

For the WSB promotion to come into play, South Africa or Australia need to complete the victory within the first three days.

There are reasons to believe a quick result is possible.

Both teams possess high-quality bowling attacks capable of taking wickets quickly if conditions offer assistance. South Africa can call on Marco Jansen, Anrich Nortje and Keshav Maharaj, while Kagiso Rabada remains in contention as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.

Rabada bowled in South Africa's recent intra-squad match in Durban, although the Proteas are expected to make a late decision on whether to include their leading fast bowler.

Australia arrive with an imposing bowling attack of their own. Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon give the visitors proven Test quality across pace and spin.

There are also selection concerns in both camps. Tony de Zorzi has been ruled out for South Africa with a hamstring injury, while Australia will be without Cameron Green after the all-rounder suffered an abdominal strain during the ODI series.

A low-scoring opening day or a dominant spell from either bowling attack could quickly accelerate the Test and bring WSB's three-day condition into focus.

However, bettors should remember that the promotion is dependent on the match actually being won within three days.

South Africa and Australia return to Kingsmead

The opening Test also marks Australia's first Test series in South Africa since the memorable 2018 tour.

Kingsmead hosted the opening match of that series, with Australia winning by 118 runs before South Africa responded to win the following three Tests and take the series 3-1.

The rivalry has since produced another significant South African victory, with Temba Bavuma's side beating Australia in the 2025 World Test Championship final.

The teams will now meet three times during October, starting in Durban before the series moves to Gqeberha and Cape Town.

You can see the dates and venues for all three matches in our South Africa v Australia Test series fixtures guide.
