7. Carlos Ortiz 66.00 pts
8. Marc Leishman 64.86 pts
9. Dean Burmester 60.25 pts
10. David Puig 60.10 pts

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm missed the cut at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour at the start of his season; however, the Spaniard has produced ultra-consistent results since that performance.

The former world number has placed T2 in Riyadh, 6th in Adelaide, T6 in Hong Kong, T5 in Singapore, T9 in Miami, T14 at the Masters, 4th in Mexico City, T7 in South Korea, T8 at the PGA Championship, T8 in Virginia, and T7 at the U.S. Open in 11 tournaments.

Rahm has had impressive results this year and will fancy his chances to win the title at the Maridoe Golf Club this weekend.

Carlos Ortiz

Carlos Ortiz had an average to good beginning to his season on the LIV Golf Tour, finishing T25 in Riyadh, T2 in Adelaide, T30 in Hong Kong, and 37th in Singapore.

Ortiz has played excellent golf since those results, winning the International Series in Macau (Asian Tour) before placing 4th in Miami, 16th in Mexico City, T7 in South Korea, T10 in Virginia, and T4 at the U.S. Open.

Ortiz has been in great touch lately and can lift the winning trophy in Dallas come Sunday.

Sebastian Munoz

Sebastian Munoz had an excellent beginning to his season on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf League, placing T5 at the International Series in India and T2 in Riyadh before finishing 45th in Adelaide.

Munoz shrugged off that result and regained the form he showed earlier, placing T6 in Hong Kong, T5 in Singapore, T14 at the International Series in Macau (Asian Tour), T21 in Miami, T7 in Mexico City, T20 in South Korea, and T15 in Virginia.

Munoz has been playing well this year and should enter calculations at the Maridoe Golf Club this weekend.

Talor Gooch

Talor Gooch struggled with his game during the opening four events on the LIV Golf Tour, finishing T44 in Riyadh, T51 in Adelaide, 49th in Hong Kong, and T29 in Singapore.

However, Gooch has improved since those results, placing T12 in Miami, T13 in Mexico City, 3rd in South Korea, and T10 in Virginia.

Gooch has been thereabouts lately and can emerge victorious in Texas this weekend.

Format

An invitational field of 54 golfers will feature at the tournament, with a total purse of $25 million up for grabs. $4 million will go to the winner, while the player coming in last will pocket $50,000.

The players will contest 54 holes instead of 72 for all the LIV Golf Invitational Series events.

A shotgun start will occur, where the players will tee off simultaneously from different holes.

A 13-four-man team (four players each and two wild-card players) format will run concurrent, with the top three teams earning prize money.

Verdict

Rahm has been knocking hard lately and can secure victory in Dallas this weekend.

Ortiz has done nothing wrong lately and has every chance of winning at the Maridoe Golf Club.

Munoz has been thereabouts for much of the season and will be in the mix in Texas come Sunday.

Gooch is showing signs that he is ready to win his fourth LIV Golf Tour title this weekend.
