7. Sebastian Munoz 79.59 pts
8. Lucas Herbert 71.90 pts
9. Abraham Ancer 67.91 pts
10. David Puig 66.60 pts
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Tyrrell Hatton
Tyrrell Hatton started his season with victory at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour before finishing T6 in Riyadh, T23 in Adelaide, T20 in Hong Kong, T19 in Singapore, and T33 in Miami on the LIV Golf League.
Hatton has been in better shape since those results, placing T14 at the Masters, T5 in Mexico City, T13 in South Korea, T60 at the PGA Championship, T15 in Virginia, T4 at the U.S. Open, T5 in Dallas, T23 in Andalucia, and T16 at the Open Championship last weekend.
The 33-year-old placed T2 overall in LIV Golf United Kingdom in 2024.
Hatton will look to go one better than his runner-up result last year with victory in England this weekend.
Joaquin Niemann
Joaquin Niemann started his season well, placing T5 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open (DP World Tour) and T3 at the International Series in India (Asian Tour) before returning to the LIV Golf League.
Niemann found another gear after those results, placing T33 in Riyadh, victory in Adelaide, T12 in Hong Kong, victory in Singapore before finishing T33 in Miami, and T29 at the Masters.
Niemann did not take long to regain his touch, recording a victory in Mexico City, a T20 in South Korea, a T8 at the PGA Championship, and a victory in Virginia.
The Chilean form has dipped lately, with results of MC at the U.S. Open, T23 in Dallas, T23 in Andalucia, and MC at the Open Championship last weekend.
The six-time LIV Golf Tour winner placed T2 at the LIV Golf Invitational Series in the United Kingdom in 2024.
Niemann has performed well throughout the season and can secure victory come Sunday.
Cameron Tringale
Cameron Tringale was in decent nick at the start of his season on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf Tour, finishing T19 at the International Series in India, T18 in Riyadh, T12 in Adelaide, T20 in Hong Kong, and T5 in Singapore.
Tringale lacked consistency in his subsequent three events, finishing T14 in Miami, 46th in Mexico City, and T20 in South Korea before returning to form, placing 4th at the International Series in Japan, T29 in Virginia, T9 in Dallas, and T7 in Andalucia.
The American secured a T6 at LIV Golf United Kingdom in 2024.
Tringale will fancy his chances of victory at the JCB Golf & Country Club after recording three top-ten results in four tournaments.
Jinichiro Kozuma
Jinichiro Kozuma missed the opening five events on the LIV Golf Tour due to a back injury but has been in great touch since his return.
Kozuma placed 21st in Mexico City, T7 in South Korea, T7 at the International Series in Japan, T23 in Virginia, T2 in Dallas, and T10 in Andalucia in his subsequent six starts.
The Japanese golfer finished 33rd at LIV Golf United Kingdom in 2024.
Kozuma has been playing well lately and is the long-shot value bet in England this weekend.
Format
An invitational field of 54 golfers will feature at the tournament, with a total purse of $25 million up for grabs. $4 million will go to the winner, while the player coming in last will pocket $50,000.
The players will contest 54 holes instead of 72 for all the LIV Golf Invitational Series events.
A shotgun start will occur, where the players will tee off simultaneously from different holes.
A 13-four-man team (four players each and two wild-card players) format will run concurrent with the top three teams earning prize money.
Verdict
Hatton has been threatening to win lately and can secure the title at the JCB Golf & Country Club come Sunday.
Niemann has achieved tremendous success on the LIV Golf Tour this season and can win another title in England this weekend.
Tringale has been thereabouts lately and can feature prominently in the United Kingdom this weekend.
Kozuma comes into this event in solid form and could cause an upset victory this Sunday.
