The Turkish Airlines Open returns to the DP World Tour after a five-year hiatus, where a strong field will compete for the title at the Regnum Carya Golf Club this weekend. Who will lift the winning trophy in Turkiye?
Regnum Carya Golf Club was the host venue for the Turkish Airlines Open from 2016 to 2018, where Thorbjorn Olesen claimed victory and Justin Rose achieved back-to-back wins.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Haotong Li
Haotong Li had a solid beginning to his season on the DP World Tour, finishing T52 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T22 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, and T24 at the Bahrain Championship.
After those results, Haotong Li found another gear, winning the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters before placing T41 at the Magical Kenya Open, T16 at the South African Open Championship, T9 at the Porsche Singapore Classic, T4 at the Volvo China Open, and T51 at the Hainan Classic.
The four-time DP World Tour winner has compiled an impressive record at the Turkish Airlines Open, finishing T26 in 2015, T2 in 2016, T66 in 2017, 2nd in 2018, and T46 in 2019.
Haotong Li has finished runner-up twice at this event and has the form to win it outright at the Regnum Carya Golf Club this weekend.
Sam Bairstow
Sam Bairstow battled with his game at the beginning of the DP World Tour season, finishing T52 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, MC at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, and T77 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
Bairstow soon regained this touch, placing T16 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T32 at the Bahrain Championship, T10 at the Qatar Masters, T11 at the South African Open Championship, and T9 at the Joburg Open.
However, Bairstow's form dipped after those performances, finishing T43 at the Singapore Classic and MC at the Hero Indian Open before placing T22 at the Volvo China Open and T6 at the Hainan Classic.
Bairstow has been knocking hard this season and can secure the title at the Turkish Airlines Open this weekend.
Adrien Saddier
Adrien Saddier was thereabouts at the start of the new DP World Tour season, finishing T34 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship and T11 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open before missing the cut at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
Since then, Saddier has been in ultra-consistent form, placing T13 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T35 at the Qatar Masters, T7 at the Magical Kenya Open, W/D at the South African Open Championship, T19 at the Joburg Open, T3 at the Porsche Singapore Classic, and 5th at the Hero Indian Open.
Saddier has been in great touch and will fancy his chances to secure victory at the Turkish Airlines Open this weekend.
Daniel Brown
Daniel Brown struggled with form at the start of the 2025 DP World Tour season, finishing T55 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T57 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, and MC at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
Brown has been in better shape on the golf course lately, placing T27 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T2 at the Bahrain Championship, T10 at the Qatar Masters, and T14 at the Joburg Open before withdrawing from the Porsche Singapore Classic.
Brown comes into this event in solid form and is the long-shot value bet in Turkiye this weekend.
Verdict
Haotong Li has been in great touch this season and can win the Turkish Airlines Open this weekend.
Bairstow has been thereabouts this season and can emerge victorious come Sunday.
Saddier has the form to go all the way and win the title in Turkiye.
Brown has been playing well lately and could cause an upset at the Regnum Carya Golf Club this weekend.
