Best Cincinnati Bengals Bet – Tyler Boyd

But what if Cincinnati end their drought of first quarter touchdowns and the first TD of Super Bowl LVI? Who is the most likely man to hit paydirt from the Bengals’ ranks?

Joe Mixon and Ja’Marr Chase are the team leaders in touchdowns this season with 17 and 14 touchdowns respectively, although both men have only scored one in the postseason so far.

The Rams boast a dominant run defense that has been shutting down opponents in the postseason, and they will almost certainly put Jalen Ramsey on Chase in an attempt to keep the Cincy receiver quiet.

The Rams’ secondary are not easy to beat on the outside, but they can be beaten on the inside and that makes slot receiver Tyler Boyd and appealing first touchdown scorer selection from the Cincinnati ranks.

Boyd does not get the targets that Chase and Tee Higgins get, but he has turned his few targets into touchdowns in recent games, scoring four TDs across his last six outings. We are backing him to make it five scores in seven games here.

Super Bowl LVI - 1st Touchdown Scorer

Los Angeles’ defense has not given up many points in the first quarter of any of their playoff games so far.

Cincinnati have been starting slow too, so Rams receiver Kupp is the most appealing first touchdown scorer pick for Super Bowl LVI.
