LIV Golf Adelaide Predictions - Best bets for victory in Adelaide

The LIV Golf League returns to Adelaide at the Grange Golf Club with high anticipation. Joaquin Niemann defends his title, but all eyes are on other potential winners. Carlos Ortiz has had a strong season with notable performances in various tournaments. Sebastian Munoz is also in great form, recently winning in Indianapolis, and could shine again. Lucas Herbert has consistently shown promise with his strong starts this season. Thomas Pieters, with his recent excellent form, is also a strong contender. Each player is highly capable of taking the trophy this weekend.

The LIV Golf League returns to Australia to contest the fourth edition of LIV Golf Adelaide at the Grange Golf Club this weekend. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday? 

Joaquin Niemann is back to defend his title after a three-stroke victory over Abraham Ancer and Carlos Ortiz in 2025.

Carlos Ortiz 


Carlos Ortiz has been playing well on the LIV Golf Tour and DP World Tour lately, placing 4th in Chicago, T4 in Indianapolis, T50 at the PIF Saudi International, T25 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T8 at the Crown Australian Open, and T13 in Riyadh last weekend. 

Additional highlights achieved by Ortiz last year include winning the International Series in Macau (Asian Tour) before placing 4th in Miami, 16th in Mexico City, T7 in South Korea, T10 in Virginia, and T4 at the U.S. Open. 

The Mexican golfer has featured three times at LIV Golf Adelaide, finishing T36 in 2023 and T22 in 2024 before placing T2 in 2025. 

Ortiz can convert his recent results into victory at the Grange Golf Club come Sunday. 

Sebastian Munoz


Sebastian Munoz has been in excellent form on the LIV Golf Tour, Asian Tour, and DP World Tour lately, winning in Indianapolis and placing T50 at the PIF Saudi International, T14 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T39 at the Crown Australian Open and 8th in Riyadh last weekend.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Munoz on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf League last season include placing T5 at the International Series in India, T2 in Riyadh, T6 in Hong Kong, T5 in Singapore, T14 at the International Series in Macau, T7 in Mexico City, T15 in Virginia, T16 in Dallas, T10 in Andalucia, T11 in the United Kingdom, and T10 in Chicago. 

The 33-year-old finished T21 in 2023, T38 in 2024, and 45th in 2025 at LIV Golf Adelaide.

Munoz has been thereabouts since his latest victory and could win the title in Australia come Sunday. 

Lucas Herbert


Lucas Herbert has had a solid beginning to his season on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf Tour, placing T5 at the PIF Saudi International, T18 at the Australian Open, and T9 in Riyadh on the LIV Golf Tour last weekend. 

Other prominent performances achieved by Herbert in the LIV Golf League and Asian Tour last year include a 4th in Hong Kong, a T14 in Singapore, T8 at the International Series in Macau, a T18 in Miami, a T2 in Mexico City, a T13 in Korea, and a victory at the International Series in Japan.

The Australian has featured twice at LIV Golf Adelaide, finishing T14 in 2024 and T31 in 2025.

Herbert has come good in recent outings and can emerge as the winner at the Grange Golf Club this weekend.

Thomas Pieters


Thomas Pieters has been playing well on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf Tour lately, placing T9 at the Link Hong Kong Open, T9 at the Moutai Singapore Open, and T4 in Riyadh last weekend.

Other notable results achieved by Pieters on the LIV Golf League last year include a 15th in Mexico City, T4 in Korea, T19 in Andalucia, T8 in Chicago, and T8 in Indianapolis.

The six-time DP World Tour winner finished T14 in 2024 and T12 in 2025 at LIV Golf Adelaide. 

Pieters has been in great shape lately and could upstage the others in Australia this weekend. 

Verdict

Ortiz will look to go one better than last season and win the title in Adelaide this weekend.

Munoz has been performing well recently and could secure his second LIV Golf League title this weekend.
 
Herbert has been in better shape lately and could emerge victorious in Australia this weekend.

Pieters has the form to lift the trophy on the greens of the Grange Golf Club come Sunday.
