LIV Golf Hong Kong Predictions - Top contenders for victory in Hong Kong

The LIV Golf League and a competitive field return to Asia for the third edition of LIV Golf Hong Kong. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday? 

Sergio Garcia is back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Dean Burmester in 2025.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Bryson DeChambeau


Bryson DeChambeau has been there and thereabouts on the LIV Golf League recently, placing T11 in the United Kingdom, T13 in Chicago, T14 in Indianapolis, T17 in Riyadh, and T3 in Adelaide. 

Other notable results achieved by DeChambeau last year include a T10 in Singapore, a 5th in Miami, a T5 at the Masters, a T2 in Mexico City, a victory in South Korea, a T2 at the PGA Championship, a T4 in Virginia, a T9 in Dallas, and T10 at the Open Championship. 

The former two-time U.S. Open champion placed T6 in 2024 and T20 in 2025 at LIV Golf Hong Kong. 

DeChambeau will have every chance of victory this weekend after his recent performance.

David Puig


David Puig has been in fine form on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf League this season, winning the BMW Australian PGA Championship and missing the cut at the Crown Australian Open before placing T3 at the Dubai Invitational, T7 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T4 in Riyadh, and T51 in Adelaide. 

Other prominent performances achieved by Puig last season include a 4th in Singapore, a T14 in Miami, a T13 in Hong Kong, T13 in Dallas, a T11 at the BMW International Open, a T19 in Andalucia, a T18 in the United Kingdom, a T17 in Chicago, and a T4 in Indianapolis, a T9 at the Open de Espana, a T14 at the Link Hong Kong Open, and a T16 at the PIF Saudi International. 

The Spaniard finished T34 in 2024 and T18 in 2025 at LIV Golf Hong Kong.

Puig has been on top of his game in recent outings and can win the title come Sunday.

Cameron Smith


Cameron Smith has had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf Tour, placing MC at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, 2nd at the Crown Australian Open, T13 in Riyadh, and T8 in Adelaide. 

Other noteworthy results achieved by Smith on the LIV Golf League last season include a T9 in Miami, T5 in Mexico City, T7 in Korea, T13 in Dallas, T7 in Andalucia, 10th in the United Kingdom, and T14 in Indianapolis.

The former Open Champion finished T2 in 2024 and T20 in 2025 at LIV Golf Hong Kong. 

Smith is showing signs that he is ready to return to the winner's circle. 

Peter Uihlein


Peter Uihlein has rediscovered his touch in recent months, placing T20 at the International Series in the Philippines, 2nd at the LINK Hong Kong, T20 at the PIF Saudi International, 3rd in Riyadh, and T3 in Adelaide. 

Additional highlights achieved by Uihlein on the Asian Tour and LIV Golf League include a T10 at the International Series in Macau, T3 at the International Series in Morocco, and T10 in Chicago. 

The 36-year-old finished T29 in 2024, and T6 in 2025 at LIV Golf Hong Kong.

Uihlein has found form and could cause an upset victory this weekend.

Verdict

DeChambeau has the game to secure another LIV Golf League trophy come Sunday.
 
Puig has been performing well this season and can secure the title in Hong Kong this weekend.

Smith will look to go all the way and win the title at the Hong Kong Golf Club this weekend.
 
Uihlein has been knocking hard lately and should enter calculations.
