The DP World Tour and a competitive field return to Denmark to compete for the Danish Golf Championship title at the Furesø Golfklub for the first time this weekend. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday?

Frederic LaCriox is back to defend his title after a four-stroke victory over Lucas Bjerregaard and Romain Langasque in 2024.

These are our selections that could win the title this weekend.

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen was in excellent touch on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour between February and April, placing 2nd at the Qatar Masters, 2nd at the Puerto Rico Open, T22 at the Valspar Championship, T10 at the Volvo China Open, and T4 at the Hainan Classic.
Neergaard-Petersen has lacked consistency in recent outings, with results of MC at the PGA Championship, MC at the Austrian Alpine Open, MC at the KLM Open, T12 at the U.S. Open, T14 at the BMW International Open, and MC at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Additional highlights from Neergaard-Petersen's season include a T8 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship and a T10 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

The Dane finished T65 in 2023 and T19 at the Danish Golf Championship in 2024.

Neergaard-Petersen will have a chance of victory at the Furesø Golfklub if he can replicate his form from a few months ago.

Matt Wallace

Matt Wallace has been in solid form on the PGA Tour lately, placing T17 at the PGA Championship, T22 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, MC at the RBC Canadian Open, T23 at the U.S. Open, T46 at the Rocket Classic, T50 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T50 at the Open Championship, T3 at the 3M Open, and T27 at the Wyndham Championship.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Wallace this season include a T26 at the Puerto Rico Open, a T26 at the Valero Texas Open, and a T12 at the Corales Puntacana Championship.

The five-time DP World Tour winner has an excellent record at this event, placing T6 in 2017, winning in 2018, finishing T41 in 2019, before missing the cut in 2022.

Wallace has had success in Denmark before and can win the Danish Golf Championship this weekend.

Joost Luiten

Joost Luiten has been performing well since the end of March, placing 3rd at the Hero Indian Open, 14th at the Volvo China Open, MC at the Hainan Classic, T5 at the Turkish Airlines Open, T16 at the Soudal Open, MC at the Austrian Alpine Open, MC at the KLM Open, T4 at the BMW International Open, and T57 at the Nexo Championship.

Other notable results achieved by Luiten this season include finishing T24 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T18 at the Bahrain Championship, and T11 at the South African Open Championship.

The six-time DP World Tour winner placed T15 overall at this event in 2021.

Luiten should enter calculations in Copenhagen, as he has had three top-five results recently.

Davis Bryant

Davis Bryant has been in decent nick lately, placing T10 at the Italian Open, T4 at the BMW International Open, MC at the ISCO Championship, and T48 at the Nexo Championship.

Other prominent performances achieved by Bryant on the Challenge Tour and DP World Tour this season include a T6 at the Delhi Challenge, a 4th at the Abu Dhabi Challenge, and a T23 at the Hainan Classic.

The 25-year-old American will be debuting at the Danish Golf Championship this weekend.

Bryant has done well since joining the DP World Tour and offers an excellent each-way bet at the Furesø Golfklub.

Verdict

Neergaard-Petersen has not been at his best on the DP World Tour lately; however, he is overdue for a big performance.

Wallace has the form to come out on top at the Furesø Golfklub this weekend.

Luiten has been knocking lately and can secure victory at the Danish Golf Championship come Sunday.

Bryant has shown he can mix it with the best and is the long-shot value bet in Copenhagen this weekend.
