A competitive field of the world's best golfers has entered the Procore Championship this weekend, offering players a chance to fine-tune their games for the upcoming Ryder Cup. Who will lift the winning trophy at the Silverado Country Club come Sunday?

Patton Kizzire returns to defend his title after a five-stroke victory over David Lipsky in 2024.

Ten members of the United States Ryder Cup team are set to tee off on Thursday, including Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Harris English, Ben Griffin, Russell Henley, Collin Morikawa, Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Justin Thomas, and Cameron Young.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Patrick Cantlay

Patrick Cantlay has been in solid form on the PGA Tour since May, placing T4 at the Truist Championship, MC at the PGA Championship, T12 at the Memorial Tournament, MC at the U.S. Open, T12 at the Travelers Championship, T32 at the Rocket Classic, MC at the Open Championship, T9 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T30 at the BMW Championship, and T2 at the Tour Championship.

Additional highlights achieved by Cantlay this season include a T15 at the Sentry, a T5 at the American Express, a T5 at the Genesis Invitational, a T12 at the Players Championship, and a T13 at the RBC Heritage.

The eight-time PGA Tour winner finished T17 in 2018 and T40 in 2019 at this event.

Cantlay will have every chance of victory at the Procore Championship if he can replicate his last result.

Cameron Young

Cameron Young has been in great shape on the PGA Tour since June, placing T4 at the RBC Canadian Open, T4 at the U.S. Open, T52 at the Travelers Championship, T46 at the Rocket Classic, MC at the Open Championship, victory at the Wyndham Championship, 5th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, 11th at the BMW Championship, and T4 at the Tour Championship.

Other notable results from Young's season include a T8 at the Sentry, a T12 at the WM Phoenix Open, a T18 at the Valero Texas Open, a T7 at the Truist Championship, and T25 at the Memorial Tournament.

The American golfer missed the cut at the 2021 edition of this tournament on debut.

Young will fancy his chances to take the Procore Championship title, as he has had two top-five finishes in his last three starts.

Ben Griffin

Ben Griffin has been in excellent form on the PGA Tour lately, placing T8 at the PGA Championship, victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge, 2nd at the Memorial Tournament, T10 at the U.S. Open, T14 at the Travelers Championship, T13 at the Rocket Classic, MC at the John Deere Classic, MC at the Open Championship, T11 at the Wyndham Championship, T9 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T12 at the BMW Championship, and T10 at the Tour Championship.

The two-time PGA Tour winner missed the cut at the 2022 edition of this tournament on debut.

Griffin has been on top of his game this season and can pocket the winner's cheque in California come Sunday.

Harris English

Harris English has been playing well on the PGA Tour during the past two and a half months, placing T4 at the Travelers Championship, T22 at the Genesis Scottish Open, 2nd at the Open Championship, T48 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T12 at the BMW Championship, and T13 at the Tour Championship.
