Mirra Andreeva has been in excellent form at Wimbledon despite her lack of experience on grass. She is in her first-ever quarter-final at the All England Club.

Over the last couple of weeks, Andreeva has won four successive matches in straight sets. In the first round, Andreeva defeated Mayar Sherif 6-3 6-3 and followed it with two moer two-set wins in rounds two and three.

The round of 16 promised to be a lot tougher as Andreeva came up against Emma Navarro, but she comfortably managed, winning 6-2 6-3.

Belinda Bencic Form

Belinda Bencic has often threatened at Wimbledon in years gone by but has never quite gotten to the quarter-final stage. That said, she has plenty of experience on grass, her favourite surface.

The Swis cruised through round one, defeating Alycia Parks 6-0 6-3. Rounds two and three were tougher as Bencic had to get past Elsa Jacquemot and Elisabetta Cocciaretto in three sets, holding her nerve in the latter game during a dramatic tiebreak in set three.

Bencic beat 18th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova in the round of 16, 7-6 6-4. It was a very competitive match which should set the Swiss up nicely for this quarterfinal.

This is set to be a cracking quarterfinal, one where I feel Bencic could upset the odds. I am backing this match to go to three sets.
