The Asiad Country Club was the host venue for the BMW LPGA Championship for three seasons.

Current top ten in the individual points standings after seven rounds:

1. Jon Rahm 802.33 pts
2. Bryson DeChambeau 551.90 pts
3. Lucas Herbert 299.18 pts
4. Thomas Detry 284.40 pts
5. Anthony Kim 270.21 pts

7. David Puig 238.24 pts
8. Josele Ballester 186.72 pts
9. Dean Burmester 180.20 pts
10. Thomas Pieters 178.40 pts

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

David Puig

David Puig began his season in excellent form, winning the BMW Australian PGA Championship before missing the cut at the Crown Australian Open, and placing T3 at the Dubai Invitational and T7 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Puig has maintained his touch on the DP World Tour and the LIV Golf League since those results, placing T4 in Riyadh, T51 in Adelaide, T8 in Hong Kong, T21 in Singapore, T6 in South Africa, MC at the Hero Indian Open, 2nd in Mexico City, T18 at the Turkish Airlines Open, and T12 in Virginia before finishing T18 at the recent PGA Championship.

The Spaniard finished T20 at the 2025 LIV Golf Korea tournament on debut.

Puig has been performing well this season and can win his maiden LIV Golf League title this weekend.

Dean Burmester

Dean Burmester had a mediocre start to his season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf League, finishing T32 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and T51 in Riyadh.

However, Burmester has been in great shape since those performances, placing T6 in Adelaide, T20 at the Investec South African Open Championship, 7th in Hong Kong, 10th in Singapore, T6 in South Africa, T15 in Mexico City, and 4th in Virginia.

The South African finished T13 at the 2025 LIV Golf Korea event on debut.

Burmester comes into this LIV Golf Tour event in great touch and will fancy his chances of victory in Busan this weekend.

Cameron Smith

Cameron Smith has had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf Tour, placing MC at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, 2nd at the Crown Australian Open, T13 in Riyadh, T8 in Adelaide, 48th in Hong Kong, T8 in Singapore, and T17 in South Africa.

Smith's form subsequently dipped after those performances after missing the cut at the Masters and finishing T39 in Mexico City and T26 in Virginia before securing a T7 at the recent PGA Championship.

The former Open Champion finished T7 at LIV Golf Korea in 2025.

Smith has the game to come out on top in Busan this weekend.

Branden Grace

Branden Grace played well in his opening four events of the season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf Tour, placing T9 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T9 in Riyadh, and T8 in Adelaide.

Grace was in decent nick in his next three starts, finishing T20 at the Investec South African Open, T24 in Hong Kong, and T33 in Singapore before placing T3 in South Africa, T5 in Mexico City, and T21 in Virginia.

The nine-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at LIV Golf Korea this weekend.

Grace will fancy his chances of victory at the Asiad Country Club, as he has recorded two top-five finishes in three outings.
