A competitive field of the world's best golfers converges on the greens of the National Golf Club for the Turkish Airlines Open this weekend. Who will win the latest round of the DP World Tour come Sunday?

Martin Couvra is back to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over Jorge Campillo and Haotong Li in 2025.

LIV Golf League players David Puig, Tom McKibbin, and Elvis Smylie are in the field, along with former Open Champion Francesco Molinari.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

David Puig

David Puig started his season in fine form on the DP World Tour, winning the BMW Australian PGA Championship, missing the cut at the Crown Australian Open, and placing T3 at the Dubai Invitational and T7 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Puig has continued to perform well on the LIV Golf League, finishing T4 in Riyadh, T51 in Adelaide, T8 in Hong Kong, T21 in Singapore, T6 in South Africa, MC at the Hero Indian Open (DP World Tour), and 2nd in Mexico City.

The Spaniard will make his debut at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open this weekend.

Puig has been showing signs lately that he is ready to win another tournament and could emerge victorious at the National Golf Club.

Hennie du Plessis

Hennie du Plessis had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour, finishing T64 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T25 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, T19 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T16 at the Bahrain Championship, and T15 at the Qatar Masters.

Du Plessis has found another gear since those results, placing 3rd at the Magical Kenya Open, T2 at the Investec South African Open Championship, and 4th at the Joburg Open.

The South African golfer will make his debut at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open.

Du Plessis has been knocking hard lately and can go all the way in the Turkiye this weekend.

Oliver Lindell

Oliver Lindell had an average beginning to his new season on the DP World Tour, finishing T40 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T46 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, and T32 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

Lindell has been ultra-consistent since then, placing T15 at the Dubai Invitational, T26 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T9 at the Bahrain Championship, T5 at the Qatar Masters, T29 at the Investec South African Open Championship, T14 at the Hainan Classic, T13 at the Hero Indian Open, and T33 at the Volvo China Open last weekend.

The 27-year-old finished T12 overall at the 2025 Turkish Airlines Open on debut.

Lindell has been there and thereabouts and could upstage the others at the National Golf Club this weekend.

Andy Sullivan

Andy Sullivan performed well at the start of his season on the DP World Tour, placing T8 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T52 at the Dubai Invitational, and 2nd at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Sullivan struggled in his subsequent four events, with results of MC at the Bahrain Championship, T36 at the Qatar Masters, T29 at the Investec South African Open Championship, and MC at the Joburg Open.

However, the Englishman has regained his touch lately, placing T9 at the Hainan Classic and T3 at the Hero Indian Open before missing the cut at the Volvo China Open last weekend.

The four-time DP World Tour winner has made three appearances at the Turkish Airlines Open, finishing T61 in 2017, T18 in 2018, and MC in 2025.

Sullivan has the form to come out on top in Turkiye this weekend.

Verdict

Puig has been in excellent form throughout his season and has strong claims for the Turkish Airlines Open title.

Du Plessis has been on top of his game lately and can pocket the winner's cheque at the National Golf Club come Sunday.

Lindell comes into this event in solid form and could lift the trophy in Turkiye this weekend.

Sullivan should enter calculations, as he has had four top-ten finishes this season.
