Alex Fitzpatrick recently secured his maiden DP World Tour title, winning the Hero Indian Open in his last start.

The five-time Major champion has contested the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on three occasions, finishing T5 in 2017, MC in 2018, and T22 in 2019.
Shane Lowry has competed in ten tournaments on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour this season, with his best results being a T3 at the Dubai Invitational, a T26 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, a T8 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a T24 at the Genesis Invitational, and a T2 at the Cognizant Classic.
The former Open champion has compiled a solid record at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, recording a T28 in 2018, an MC in 2019, a 13th in 2022, a victory in 2024, and a T12 in 2025.
Ryan Gerard and Sudarshan Yellamaraju
Ryan Gerard went close to winning three times on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour at the beginning of his season, placing 2nd at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, 2nd at the Sony Open in Hawaii, and T2 at the American Express.
Additionally, Gerard finished T11 at the Farmers Insurance Open and T23 at the Cognizant Classic.
The 26-year-old American missed the cut at the 2023 Zurich Classic of New Orleans on debut before finishing T12 in 2025.
Sudarshan Yellamaraju has been playing well on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour this season, finishing T25 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T13 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T17 at the Cognizant Classic, T5 at the Players Championship, T6 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, and T14 at the Valero Texas Open in 11 starts.

Marco Penge has had some success in his first season on the PGA Tour, placing T16 at the Genesis Invitational, T4 at the Valspar Championship, and T21 at the Valero Texas Open in ten events. Additionally, he finished T25 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship.
The three-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this weekend.
Matt Wallace has had limited results on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour this season, placing T7 at the Dubai Invitational, T20 at the Qatar Masters, and T2 at the Valero Texas Open in ten tournaments.
The Englishman has featured at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans five times, finishing T23 in 2021, T18 in 2022, MC in 2023, 36th in 2024, and MC in 2025.
The Format
The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is played over four days, comprising 74 teams of two.
The cut is the top 33 teams plus ties after 36 holes.
Teams play four-ball for rounds one and three at TPC Louisiana, where the players each play their own ball for the duration of the round, with the best score on each hole recorded.
Teams play foursomes for rounds two and four at TPC Louisiana, where players rotate tee shots (one player will tee off on even-numbered holes and the other on odd-numbered holes) and strokes.
Player A will tee off, with Player B taking the next shot etc., until the completion of the hole. The total strokes taken between the team will be the team's score for that hole.
