Winds of Grace is bursting for a win after placing 3-2-2-2-4. Leading the trailing pack I have Stone of Scones, who has had just one race since a 70-day break and should be full of running.

I’m liking the 4-year–old bay gelding Dylan’s Champ, who has eight top-three finishes in his last 15 races. He comes into the race on the back of four races under a new owner, hitting two second-place finishes in his last two races. He’s going to be full of running, but I think the 3-year-old filly Matcha Mint will outpace him. She comes into the race hot, with finishes of 3-2-2-2-1, with the win coming after a 71-day break. She’s a fresh one!

Race 8 – Roaming Spirit (6)

I’ve got a good feeling about the 6-year-old grey gelding Silver Tudor (7.00), who has had 11 top three placings in 25 starts and just one run after a 62-day break. He will have the legs to take the tape, but his age might hold him back compared to 4-year-old bay filly Roaming Spirit (4.50), who won her last race after a 126-day break. Another 6-year-old with a strong chance is bay gelding Fully Loaded (5.50), so this should be a thrilling finish.

Race 9 – Princess Lola (5)

Jockey: Muzi Yeni | Trainer: Roy Magner

Princess Lola (5.50) has had six runs in a row and will have built up stamina and a thirst for the tape, with her last four races ending 2-3-4-4. She will be challenged by the relatively fresh legs of Beamonesque (3.00) and the success story Phala Millions (4.50), who has finished 1-5-1-7-2-4-2-4-1-5-2 in his most recent runs.
