Vaal Race Track Horse Racing Tips - Get all the racing tips for Thursday, 5 February 2026
As the horse racing event approaches, certain horses are drawing attention due to their predicted performances. World Order is highly favored to secure another victory. Meanwhile, Indian Spice is anticipated to take the lead by a margin of two lengths. Beynac, with fresher legs, is expected to make a powerful finish that could break from the pack. Additionally, Pivotal Role has garnered more backing than the top contenders. These predictions suggest an exciting race day with potential shifts in expected outcomes.
- World Order looks on track for a hat-trick of wins in Race 1.
- Indian Spice should romp home in Race 3.
- Beynac to upset the odds with a storming finish in Race 6.
- Precocious’ fresh legs should let her nose it in Race 8.

- Best Bet of the Day - Vaal Racetrack, 5 February 2026
- Race 1 – World Order (4)
- Race 3 – Indian Spice (1)
- Race 6 – Beynac (5)
- Race 8 – Precocious (1)
Race 1 – World Order (4)
Jockey: Iannish Taka | Trainer: Fanie Bronkhorst
A seven–horse field looks set for a thrilling finish between two strong runners in World Order and Annewithan E. Falconfly and Peace Treaty are the front-runners in the early odds, but I fancy World Order and Annewithan E to do the heavy lifting at the end of the track.
World Order came through with a powerful surge to win his last race on 1 February. The 4-yr-old bay gelding has had a busy start to the year, but in his three races he has claimed 3rd, 1st and 1st. Last year was very successful as well, despite a heavy workload, so I’m backing him to bounce back to win three in a row.
Race 3 – Indian Spice (1)
Jockey: Ryan Munger | Trainer: D Gray St John
Indian Spice is the overwhelming favourite to take the tape in a 10-strong field that has just one 2nd place and one 3rd place finish among his challengers in their last five runs. The 4-yr-old bay gelding finished 6-3-4 in his three runs in January but looks full of running after a 95-day break at the end of 2025.
Race 6 – Beynac (5)
Jockey: Callan Murray | Trainer: James Crawford
It’s a tough pick between Wayne, Beynac and Money Heist. The bookies have Wayne and Money Heist as the top picks, but fourth-ranked Beynac has my backing. Wayne has two wins in his last three runs and Money Heist has two second–places in four, but Beynac has been consistent in placing 1-2-4 in his last four outings. He’s also coming into the meeting on the back of a 56-day break so he should be fit and firing.
Race 8 – Precocious (1)
Jockey: Blaine Marx-jacobson | Trainer: Tony Peter
The final race of the day looks a toss-up between three powerful runners. Precocious, Blindfire and Tiger Storm look set to go toe-to-toe over the 1000m course. All three runners are backed at 3.75 in the early odds in a nine–horse field with four first-place finishes in the field’s last five runs.
Precocious is a 4-yr-old grey filly with plenty of running in her, and she’s fresh from a 24-day break since charging through a seven-horse field to win her last race at Turffontein, which came off a 185-day break. It’s going to be a tight run, but she has the fire to beat the field.
Verdict
World Order is set for yet another win, Indian Spice should take it by two lengths, Beynac’s fresh legs to break from the pack for a powerful finish, although Pivotal Role is backed a touch higher than that threesome.
