SA Powa Numbas Win Turns R40 into R1 Million

Last Friday, a Hollywoodbets player in South Africa had a million-rand reason to celebrate as the weekend got underway.

The player matched four of their numbers in the SA Powa Numbas lottery draw, landing a huge R1,000,000 payout from a bet worth just R40.

Their decision to play Lucky Numbers on their mobile device certainly paid off, with numbers 2, 4, 6, and 8 from the main set all matching the draw.

That’s an incredible return from a R40 bet and a true million-rand moment for the lucky Hollywoodbets player.

We can’t wait to see who lands the next one.

A Guide to SA Powa Numbas

SA Powa Numbas is a fixed-odds game linked to South Africa’s PowerBall draw, which is held every Tuesday and Friday. Each draw features five main numbers selected from 1 to 50, along with a Bonus Ball drawn from 1 to 20.

You don’t have to predict all five numbers to have a winning bet. Instead, you can choose how many numbers you want to play and bet on whether they will come up in the draw.

There are several ways to play, including bets on the main numbers, the Bonus Ball, or combinations of the two. You can also bet on simple options such as whether the Bonus Ball will be odd or even, or fall into a high or low range.

As it uses fixed odds, each bet has a set potential payout based on the market you choose and the amount you stake.

How to Place Your SA Powa Numbas Bet

To play SA Powa Numbas, log in to your Hollywoodbets account, open the Lucky Numbers section, select South Africa, and choose SA Powa Numbas from the available options.

You can then choose the type of bet you want to place and select your numbers. Pick your own numbers if you have a set in mind, or use Quick Pick to have them chosen for you. Some markets also require you to select a Bonus Ball, so make sure you check the bet details before placing it.

Once you're happy with your selection, enter your stake and confirm the bet. SA Powa Numbas draws are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

If you want to get involved but don’t already have an account with the site, you can sign up and claim a welcome bonus with the Hollywoodbets promo code “NEWBONUS”.
