The PGA Tour and star-studded field return to the Blue Monster Course at Trump National Doral for the first time since 2016 to contest the inaugural Cadillac Championship. Who will secure the fifth PGA Tour Signature Event of the year on Sunday?
Trump National Doral hosted the WGC Cadillac Championship on the PGA Tour from 2007 to 2016.
Past and present Major winners in the field include J.J. Spaun, Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Brian Harman, Jordan Spieth, Lucas Glover, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Justin Rose.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Cameron Young
Cameron Young was in average form at the start to his season on the PGA Tour, finishing T22 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T41 at the WM Phoenix Open, and T55 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
However, Young has found another gear lately, recording a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, a T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a victory at the Players Championship, a T3 at the Masters, and a T25 at the RBC Heritage.
Young has been on top of his game this year and can win the title at Blue Monster this weekend.
Collin Morikawa
Collin Morikawa did not have the best beginning to his season on the PGA Tour, missing the cut at the Sony Open in Hawaii and finishing T54 at the WM Phoenix Open.
However, Morikawa has been in excellent form since those performances, winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before placing T7 at the Genesis Invitational, 5th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T7 at the Masters, and T4 at the recent RBC Heritage.
The former two-time Major champion has been in fine form lately and can win the inaugural Cadillac Championship come Sunday.
Patrick Cantlay
Patrick Cantlay had an inconsistent beginning to his season on the PGA Tour, finishing T13 at the American Express, MC at the Farmers Insurance Open, T14 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T37 at the Genesis Invitational, MC at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and T32 at the Players Championship.
However, Cantlay has rediscovered his touch in his last three events, placing T7 at the Valspar Championship, T12 at the Masters, and T8 at the RBC Heritage.
The eight-time PGA Tour winner looks set to emerge as the winner of the Cadillac Championship this weekend.
Si Woo Kim
Si Woo Kim started his season in fine form on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, placing 3rd at the Crown Australian Open, T11 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T6 at the American Express, T2 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T3 at the WM Phoenix Open before finishing T45 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and T34 at the Genesis Invitational.
Si Woo Kim has continued to perform well, placing T13 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T50 at the Players Championship, T10 at the Valero Texas Open, 47th at the Masters, and 3rd at the RBC Heritage in his subsequent five tournaments.
Si Woo Kim can convert his recent results into a winning performance at Blue Monster this weekend.
