Grace Kim is back to defend her title after a play-off victory over Jeeno Thitikul in 2025.
Past and present Major winners in the field for Thursday's tee-off include Haeran Ryu, Nelly Korda, Hyo Joo Kim, Ruoning Yin, Hannah Green, Minjee Lee, Sei Young Kim, Lydia Ko, Mao Saigo, Jennifer Kupcho, Celine Boutier, Patty Tavatanakit, Brooke M. Henderson, A Lim Kim, Ariya Jutanugarn, Ayaka Furue, Allisen Corpuz, Jin Young Ko, Anna Nordqvist, Amy Yang, Yuka Saso, Lilia Vu, Ashleigh Buhai, Hinako Shibuno, Grace Kim, and Maja Stark.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Jeeno Thitikul
Jeeno Thitikul had an excellent start to her season on the LPGA Tour, placing T7 at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and winning the Honda LPGA Thailand.
The 23-year-old could not maintain her level of play in her subsequent five starts, finishing T31 at the HSBC Women's World Championship, T14 at the Fortinet Founders Cup, T50 at the Ford Championship, T17 at the Aramco Championship before missing the cut at the Chevron Championship.
Thitikul bounced back to form after those results, recording a victory at the Mizuho Americas Open, a 7th at the Kroger Queen City Championship, a T28 at the U.S. Women's Open, an MC at the Meijer LPGA Classic, and a T8 at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
The nine-time LPGA Tour winner has compiled a solid record at the Evian Championship, finishing T64 in 2017, 5th in 2021, T8 in 2022, T9 in 2023, MC in 2024, and 2nd in 2025.
Jeeno Thitikul has the form to go one better and win her first Major at the Evian Resort Golf Club this weekend.

The 24-year-old was in decent nick in her next three events, finishing T46 at the JM Eagle LA Championship, T21 at the Chevron Championship, and T20 at the Mizuho Americas Open before rediscovering her touch from earlier in the year, placing 3rd at the Kroger Queen City Championship, T34 at the U.S. Women's Open, victory at the Meijer LPGA Classic, and T12 at the recent KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
The number eight-ranked golfer has featured three times at the Evian Championship, finishing T48 in 2023, T39 in 2024, and T14 in 2025.
Miyu Yamashita comes into this tournament in great touch and can lift the trophy in France come Sunday.

The world's sixth-ranked golfer has yet to make an impact at the Amundi Evian Championship, missing the cut in 2024 and 2025.
