South African PSL Predictions - 25 August, Matchday 4

Matchday 4 of the Premier Soccer League promises exciting fixtures! Orlando Pirates are in top form and predicted to win to zero against Sekhukhune United. Marumo Gallants, famed for their draws, are likely to share points with TS Galaxy. Kruger United’s strong record suggests a draw against Durban City, who are still seeking their first win under new management. Siwelele, strong at home, are expected to beat Chippa United, who have struggled away this season.

Premier Soccer League Predictions, 25 August, Matchday 4


Orlando Pirates vs Sekhukhune United


Pirates ended last season in incredible league form, with 21 wins in their final 28 matches. This season has seen them win four of their five matches with three clean sheets.

Sekhukhune have lost five of their last nine matches vs Orlando Pirates and have seen Both Teams to Score NO in six of their last seven matches. I can only see an Orlando Pirates Win to Zero at 2.00 in this match. 

Marumo Gallants vs TS Galaxy


Marumo Gallants have drawn eight of their last ten matches. After eight straight stalemates, they've lost the last two fixtures but one was vs Mamelodi Sundowns. In all, it's one win in the last 20 matches and their matches are seeing goals. Five of their last eight fixtures have seen BTTS Yes. 

TS Galaxy are also scoring the odd goal but are struggling to keep the back door closed. In their last eight matches, six have seen both sides on target. The Rockets have drawn five of their last seven fixtures. I see a Score Draw in this one at 4.10.

Kruger United vs Durban City


Kruger United are unbeaten in 16 of their last 19 matches. They won the First Division last season and are bedding in some experienced new signings. 

Durban City have drawn six of their last eight PSL matches. They are still adjusting to life under a new coach and with some new additions in key areas. I see Durban City's 11-match winless run in the league being extended in a Draw at 2.85.

Siwelele vs Chippa United


Siwelele offloaded more than 20 players in the off-season. They are very strong when playing at home in Bloemfontein, as shown by four wins and five clean sheets in their last eight fixtures on home turf. 

Chippa United have won just two of their last 24 away matches, and have lost four of their last eight fixtures. I see them struggling in Free State in a Siwelele win at 2.10.

Verdict

I see Pirates winning to nil and Siwelele also taking three points. Kruger are backed to draw at home vs Durban City, whilst Marumo Gallants and TS Galaxy are set for a draw with goals.
