The DP World Tour and a competitive field will compete for the Italian Open at Circolo Golf Torino for the first time since 2014. Who will lift the winning trophy come Sunday?
Adrien Saddier is back to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over Martin Couvra in 2025.
Circolo Golf Torino is staging the Italian Open for the fourth time, after previously hosting it in 1999, 2013, and 2014.
Past Major winners in the line-up include Patrick Reed, Francesco Molinari, and Danny Willett.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Branden Grace
Branden Grace played well at the beginning of his season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf Tour, placing T9 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T9 in Riyadh, and T8 in Adelaide.
Grace's form was thereabouts in his subsequent three starts, finishing T20 at the Investec South African Open, T24 in Hong Kong, and T33 in Singapore before rediscovering the form he showed earlier in his season, placing T3 in South Africa, T5 in Mexico City, T21 in Virginia, T12 in Korea, T11 in Andalucia, and T14 at the International Series in Morocco on the Asian Tour.
The nine-time DP World Tour winner will make his debut at the Italian Open this weekend.
Grace has been knocking hard this season and can take home the title at Circolo Golf Torino this weekend.
Daniel Hillier
Daniel Hillier was on top of his game during the first three months of his season on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia, placing T5 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T6 at the Crown Australian Open, 2nd at the Dubai Invitational, T26 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T4 at the Bahrain Championship, and T20 at the Qatar Masters before winning the 105th New Zealand Open.
The 27-year-old's form dipped after that victory, with results of MC at the Volvo China Open, MC at the Turkish Airlines Open, T26 at the PGA Championship, and MC at the Soudal Open before regaining his touch, placing T7 at the Austrian Alpine Open and T14 at the KLM Open.
The New Zealander has contested the Italian Open three times, missing the cut in 2023 and 2024 before finishing T41 in 2025.
Hillier appears to have turned the corner lately and can secure a victory in Italy come Sunday.
Oliver Lindell
Oliver Lindell had a mediocre start to his new season on the DP World Tour, finishing T40 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T46 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, and T32 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
Lindell found some form after those results, placing T15 at the Dubai Invitational, T26 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T9 at the Bahrain Championship, T5 at the Qatar Masters, T29 at the Investec South African Open Championship, T14 at the Hainan Classic, and T13 at the Hero Indian Open before finishing T33 at the Volvo China Open, and T43 at the Turkish Airlines Open.
The Finnish golfer has been solid in his subsequent four starts, placing T10 at the Catalunya Championship, T30 at the Soudal Open, T47 at the Austrian Alpine Open, and 2nd at the KLM Open.
The 27-year-old finished T10 overall at the 2025 Italian Open on debut.
Lindell has done nothing wrong lately and can emerge as the winner at Circolo Golf Torino come Sunday.
Bernd Wiesberger
Bernd Wiesberger had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour, placing T10 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship and T13 at the Crown Australian Open.
The Austrian golfer struggled after those performances, with results of MC at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, MC at the Bahrain Championship, T62 at the Qatar Masters, and T42 at the Magical Kenya Open.
However, Wiesberger has been back to his best lately, placing T14 at the Investec South African Open Championship, T12 at the Joburg Open, MC at the Hero Indian Open, victory at the Volvo China Open, T13 at the Turkish Airlines Open, T13 at the Catalunya Championship, T4 at the Austrian Alpine Open, and T24 at the KLM Open.
The nine-time DP World Tour winner has made six appearances at the Italian Open, finishing T45 in 2017, victory in 2019, T16 in 2020, T46 in 2021, T42 in 2024, and T63 in 2025.
Wiesberger has produced consistent results lately and offers excellent value in Italy this weekend.
