The DP World Tour returns to the African continent for its traditional stop at the Kenya Open this weekend. Which golfer will emerge victorious at the Karen Country Club come Sunday?

Jacques Kryswijk is back to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over John Parry in 2025.

Past winners of the Magical Kenya Open in the field include Darius van Driel, Jorge Campillo, Justin Harding, and Guido Migliozzi.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Angel Ayora

Angel Ayora has been playing well since the beginning of the new DP World Tour season, placing T8 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T46 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T21 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, T13 at the Dubai Invitational, T26 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, MC at the Bahrain Championship, and T5 at the recent Qatar Masters.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Ayora last year include a T11 at the Soudal Open, a T19 at the KLM Open, a T7 at the Italian Open, a T13 at the Betfred British Masters, a T8 at the Omega European Masters, a T5 at the Amgen Irish Open, a T5 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, a T9 at the Open de Espana, a T7 at the Genesis Championship, a T9 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, and a T8 at the DP World Tour Championship.

The Spaniard finished T20 overall at the 2025 Magical Kenya Open on debut.

Ayora has not been far off securing his maiden DP World Tour title and could pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday.

Hennie du Plessis

Hennie du Plessis has had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour, placing T64 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T25 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, T19 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T16 at the Bahrain Championship, and T15 at the recent Qatar Masters.

Before that, du Plessis contested two events on the Sunshine Tour, finishing T4 at the Stella Artois Players Championship and T2 at the Fitch and Leedes PGA Championship.

The South African golfer has played twice at the Kenya Open, finishing T42 in 2022 before missing the cut in 2023.

Du Plessis has been there and thereabouts lately and could lift the trophy come Sunday.

Ewen Ferguson

Ewen Ferguson has found some consistency in his game on the DP World Tour lately, placing T10 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T20 at the Dubai Invitational, T33 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, MC at the Bahrain Championship, and T24 at the recent Qatar Masters.

Additional highlights achieved by Ferguson last season include a T17 at the Hero Indian Open, a T2 at the Soudal Open, a T4 at the KLM Open, and a T5 at the BMW PGA Championship.

The three-time DP World Tour winner has made four appearances at the Magical Kenya Open, with results of MC in 2021, T8 in 2022, T47 in 2023, and T7 in 2024.

Ferguson appears to have turned the corner and can secure the title at the Karen Country Club this weekend.

Antoine Rozner

Antoine Rozner has been in decent nick since his return to the DP World Tour, placing T46 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T14 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T10 at the Dubai Invitational, MC at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, MC at the Bahrain Championship, and T9 at the recent Qatar Masters.

Other prominent performances achieved by Rozner on the PGA Tour last season include a T13 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, a T24 at the RBC Canadian Open, a T22 at the Genesis Scottish Open, a T12 at the FedEx Open de France, and a T25 at the RSM Classic.

The three-time DP World Tour winner has featured twice at the Magical Kenya Open, finishing T34 in 2022 and MC in 2023.

Rozner is showing signs that he is ready to produce a winning performance in Nairobi.

Verdict

Ayora has the form to emerge as the winner at the Magical Kenya Open.

Du Plessis has achieved solid results this season and could win the title in Nairobi this weekend.

Ferguson will be aiming for the title in Kenya this weekend, having secured two top-ten finishes in his last three appearances at this event.

Rozner has been thereabouts and can make the frame at the Karen Country Club.
