The PGA Tour and a world-class field return to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley for the second time, with the RBC Canadian Open on the line. Who will win the penultimate tournament before the U.S. Open this weekend?

Ryan Fox is back to defend his title after a play-off victory over Sam Burns in 2025.

Past and present Major winners who will tee off on the North Course on Thursday include Aaron Rai, Matt Fitzpatrick, Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry, Wyndham Clark, Justin Rose, Lucas Glover, Padraig Harrington, Danny Willett, and Mike Weir.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Tommy Fleetwood

Tommy Fleetwood began his season on the DP World Tour, finishing 25th at the Dubai Invitational and T41 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, before finding form on the PGA Tour, placing T4 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T7 at the Genesis Invitational, 49th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T8 at the Players Championship, and T10 at the Valero Texas Open.

Fleetwood could not maintain his level of play after those results, finishing T33 at the Masters, T52 at the RBC Heritage, and T23 at the Cadillac Championship.

However, the Englishman has bounced back to form lately, placing T5 at the Truist Championship, MC at the PGA Championship, and T4 at the Memorial Tournament last weekend.

The eight-time DP World Tour winner has compiled a solid record at the RBC Canadian Open, finishing T6 in 2018, 2nd in 2023, and T21 in 2024.

Fleetwood has been performing well lately and has every chance of winning in Ontario if he can replicate his recent results.

Justin Rose

Justin Rose was in excellent form on the PGA Tour at the beginning of his season, with results of MC at the American Express, victory at the Farmers Insurance Open, T37 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, MC at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T13 at the Players Championship, and T3 at the Masters before finishing T65 at the Cadillac Championship and T45 at the Truist Championship.

However, Rose has not taken long to regain his touch, placing T10 at the PGA Championship and T12 at the Memorial Tournament in his subsequent two starts.

The former U.S. Open winner has made three appearances at the RBC Canadian Open, finishing T4 in 2022, 8th in 2023 before missing the cut in 2025.

Rose has been showing positive signs that he is ready to win a second PGA Tour title in 2026.

Kristoffer Reitan

Kristoffer Reitan began his season on the DP World Tour with a victory at the Nedbank Golf Challenge before recording MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T30 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T41 at the WM Phoenix Open, T17 at the Cognizant Classic, T66 at the Players Championship, MC at the Valspar Championship, and MC at the Texas Children's Houston Open on the PGA Tour.

Reitan has been in great touch on the PGA Tour since then, placing T10 at the Valero Texas Open, T41 at the Masters, T2 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, victory at the Truist Championship, T44 at the PGA Championship, and T6 at the Memorial Tournament last weekend.

The Norwegian golfer will make his debut at the RBC Canadian Open this weekend.

Reitan has been in fine form lately, placing three times in the top ten and registering a victory in six tournaments.

Eric Cole

Eric Cole was in fair form at the start of the new PGA Tour season, with results of MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T27 at the American Express, T27 at the Farmers Insurance Open, MC at the WM Phoenix Open, T37 at the Cognizant Classic, MC at the Puerto Rico Open, T32 at the Players Championship, MC at the Valspar Championship, and T51 at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

Cole has found another gear since those performances, placing T14 at the Valero Texas Open, T6 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T6 at the Myrtle Beach Classic, T31 at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, 2nd at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and 8th at the Memorial Tournament last weekend.

The 37-year-old has featured three times at the RBC Canadian Open, finishing T6 in 2023 before missing the cut in 2024 and 2025.

Cole has come good in recent months and could upstage the others with victory at TPC Toronto this weekend.

Verdict

Fleetwood has been ever-present on the leaderboards this season and can make the frame in Canada this weekend.

Rose enters the tournament in solid form and can pocket the winner's cheque in Ontario come Sunday.

Reitan has had an impressive season and has the form to emerge as the winner at the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday.

Cole can convert his recent results into a winning performance at TPC Toronto this weekend.
