The Zozo Championship returns to Japan this weekend after being held in the USA last year due to the global pandemic.

Patrick Cantlay won this event in 2020, while Olympic champion Xander Schauffele and two of this year's Major winners Hideki Matsuyama and Collin Morikawa are also lining up.

These are our top four selections for this PGA Tour tournament.

Xander Schauffele

Xander Schauffele will still have fond memories of his golfing triumph at this year's Olympic Games in Tokyo. The American captured the gold medal for his country and will look forward to playing in Japan again.

Schauffele finished T10 at this PGA Tour event in 2019 and has had one win, two top 10 places and two top 20 finishes in his last eight starts.

The current world number five closed with a final round of 63 last Sunday at the CJ Cup and will attempt to make it two wins from two starts in Japan this year.

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa looks primed to win another tournament. The 2021 Open Champion placed T4 at the Tokyo Olympics after the Bronze Medal playoff. He then had only two top 30 finishes in his next four starts.

However, Morikawa has shown that he is currently playing great golf. He was in great touch at the Ryder Cup and finished runner-up at the CJ Cup last weekend, including a final round of 62.

The world number three golfer will fancy his chances to be in the winners' box come Sunday.

Hideki Matsuyama

Hideki Matsuyama returns to Japan, hoping to put in a winning performance for his home fans, who will be allowed to attend the Zozo Championship.

Matsuyama just missed out on the Bronze medal at this year's Tokyo Olympics and followed that up with a T2 place at the FedEx St. Jude Invitational. Since then, he has had only one top-10 finish in his last six tournaments.

However, the 2021 Masters Champion finished runner-up to Tiger Woods at this tournament in 2019 and will be looking to go one better this weekend.

Keegan Bradley

Our long-shot selection is Keegan Bradley, who put in good solid rounds of golf at last weekend's CJ Cup. The American landed 24 birdies during the tournament.

Bradley finished T13 at this tournament in 2019 and has had a second-place finish, one top-five place, one top-10 place and four top-20 finishes during the current calendar year.

He holds the 18-hole course record of 63 at the Narashino Country Club, and after his putting performance at the CJ Cup will feel he can challenge for the Zozo Championship.

Verdict

Schauffele, Morikawa and Matsuyama all have claims for victory in Japan and are hackable each-way bets. Bradley is a worthy challenger for the title and offers an excellent long-shot value bet.
