Race 2 - FENNEC FOX (1)

FENNEC FOX showed good speed, found another kick and won well on debut over 800m at Turffontein. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Querari would have gained from the debut experience. She takes on her own sex and should be hard to peg back.

Race 5 - LINGANOMORE (7)

LINGANOMORE was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1700m. The daughter of Byword will love the extra 100m on offer. She has won once and finished third once from as many starts on this course. She carries a handy galloping mass of 52kgs and can follow up.

Race 6 - CAPTAIN CHORUS (1)

CAPTAIN CHORUS ran a fair race in the Listed Racing Association Stayers last time. It must be noted that Marchingontogether has come out and won again since. He has finished second once and third twice from four starts over this distance. His last victory came under Warren Kennedy and he should be the one to beat.

Race 7 - CHEROKEE CHIEF (12)

CHEROKEE CHIEF ran a fair race when taking on slightly stronger in his last start over 1800m. The son of Silvano will enjoy the drop back to 1600m. It is encouraging that Kabelo Matsunyane steps into the saddle and in this type of field, he may be the one to cause the upset.
