The Absa Premiership season's end is drawing near with the second last round of matches to be held on Saturday 4 May (excluding Mamelodi Sundowns' Tuesday kick-off against Golden Arrows). Now is a good time to start betting on plenty of goals, as some teams will be playing with freedom and without pressure whilst others simply need to score as many as possible.

Here are some of the matches which might be worth an over 2.5 goals bet (all kick-off times 15:00 SAST):

Polokwane City vs. Chippa United Betting Tips and Options

Polokwane City have had an impressive season and stand a good chance of putting many goals past Chippa United at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The Chilli Boys have been struggling lately but they are capable of scoring plenty themselves when in the mood as was evident in recent 4-2 and 3-2 defeats to Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively. Polokwane City are paying 2.95 in the win/over 2.5 goals market for this game while over 2.5 goals can be backed at 2.45 at Hollywoodbets.

Cape Town City vs. Orlando Pirates Betting Tips and Options

Cape Town City are the Absa Premiership's top goalscorers with 45 goals and also have a relatively poor defensive record having shipped 32. Orlando Pirates meanwhile need goals in order to keep their goal difference advantage over Mamelodi Sundowns. There is plenty of incentive for the Buccaneers to go for the Jugular at Athlone Stadium and Benni McCarthy's men are likely to respond in the only way they know how. Over 2.5 goals is paying 2.35 at Betway.

Highlands Park vs. Bloemfontein Celtic Betting Tips and Options

Bloemfontein Celtic have done well to stay in the hunt for a MTN8 spot despite off-field troubles and face a crunch encounter when they visit Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium. Peter Shalulile and Mothobi Mvala have caused problems for defences across the country while Tshegofatso Mabasa has starred for Bloemfontein Celtic this season. Phunya Sele Sele have struggled defensively recently but been in good form upfront. BTTS is paying 2.05 for this game at Hollywoodbets with Over 2.5 goals on offer at 2.40.

Kaizer Chiefs vs. Free State Stars Betting Tips and Options

Free State Stars visit Kaizer Chiefs at the Mbombela Stadium and are in dire need of a boost, as their defensive woes have landed them slap-bang in the middle of a relegation dogfight. Kaizer Chiefs are likely to be boosted by the return of several key players and will be hungry to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic. Pride is all that's at stake for Ernst Middendorp's men after a disappointing season. Over 2.5 goals is paying 2.40 for this match at Hollywoodbets with over 2.5 goals and a Kaizer Chiefs win paying 2.45.
