The Blue Bulls have begun the season in superb form with two thrashing wins over WP and Sharks. However, I expect this to be their toughest game yet and while I see them winning, I do think the Pumas will get within 27.5 points.

Pumas Form

The Pumas are currently fourth on the table with one win and one loss in their opening two fixtures.

The season started well for the Pumas with a 49-28 home victory over Griquas in round one. After winning the SA Cup earlier this season, Pumas’ confidence was high.

However, in round two, the Pumas came up against a Cheetahs side looking to bounce back from their shock round one defeat. In Bloemfontein, the Cheetahs pulled away early and the Pumas could not catch up, eventually losing the game 42-25.

Pumas will be looking to bounce back from defeat last weekend. They may see this as a game to make some changes though ahead of more “winnable” games.
