Toulouse vs Sharks Predictions
The Sharks travel to French City of Toulouse on Saturday afternoon as they look to defy the odds and win the quarter final. Home advantage is a massive advantage for Toulouse and we expect them to take full advantage of it as they have not had to travel like their opponents.

- Sharks have lost 4 of their last 6 away matches in all competitions.
Head-to-Head
This will be the first meeting between the sides.
Toulouse Form and News
The Red and Blacks won all four of their matches in the group stage and finished in second place. They are currently top of the French 14 domestic league and are doing very well at present.
A 34-10 home win against Section Paloise was followed by a 39-35 away win at Racing 92. Toulouse would unfortunately lose 27-17 at Castres in their next match.
Last week saw Toulouse beat the Bulls 33-9 at home. The Bulls were outclassed on the day and struggled to keep up for the full match. A second-half blitz saw Toulouse run in three tries as they swept the Bulls aside in front of the hometown faithful.
Team news will be announced later but we expect the same squad to be available.
Sharks Form and News
The Durban-based side won three matches in the group stage and finished in third place in their group. They have had an indifferent URC season with eight wins and eight losses.
Ulster beat the Sharks in Durban by 31-24 before losing away at the Stormers 29-23. A 32-20 away loss at Scarlets subsequently followed these results.
The most recent result was a 50-35 home win against Munster. A tight first half saw the Sharks lead 17-14 at the break. The second produced some entertaining rugby as the Sharks crossed the line five times and secured a fantastic win. Munster would go on to score two consolation tries.
The Sharks will be without star lock Eben Etzebeth and scrum-half Julian Hendikse. The rest of the squad is available.
Verdict
Toulouse will be too strong at home and the unavailability of the two Springbok stars for the Sharks will prove too costly.
