Bristol vs Bath Predictions - Bears to sneak victory in tight Premiership encounter

When these two met in mid-November 2023, Bath won the match 20-19 at home.

Bristol have struggled with inconsistency in this year’s Premiership. They are sitting eighth on the table with five wins from their 11 fixtures.

Things in Europe have not been great either, losing both of their last two matches. Those defeats come off the back of a very impressive 22-14 away win over high-flying Sale in the Premiership at the start of January.

The Bears were poor at home against the Bulls in the Champions Cup, losing 31-17. It was followed by a 27-10 away defeat to Connacht last weekend.

Bristol have also coughed up a couple players to the England squad for the Six Nations. They are not, however, very affected.

Bath are enjoying a very strong season with seven wins in 11 Premiership games. They are currently third on points difference behind Harlequins. 

It has however been a struggle for Bath recently away from home, whilst at home they have been close to perfect. Over the last couple of months, Bath have beaten Ulster, Harlquins, Gloucester and Racing 92 at home.

However, on the road, Bath lost to Toulouse, Leicester and Sale recently. Their only away success came against Cardiff in that period.

With a few players missing to international duty, Bath should still be able to field a reasonably strong outfit.
