Bath registered back-to-back victories in their recent Investec Champions Cup fixtures, winning away at Castres 43-20 and thrashing Edinburgh at home 63-10. 

Bath have played seven home games in the Premiership and Premiership Rugby Cup this season. They lost 23-14 to Exeter and defeated Sale Sharks 28-16, Gloucester 38-17, Bristol 40-15, and Sale Sharks 20-0, then lost 41-21 to Northampton Saints before beating Exeter 33-26.

Bath will fancy their chances of securing all the points on offer when they travel to face an out-of-sorts Gloucester, having defeated them in seven of their last eight encounters.

Their power game is huge, their kicking game is huge, their set piece is huge, and they just batter you down and then score some nice tries. The challenge next week is massive, but we have got to learn quickly.”

Springbok Jean Kleyn and ex-Bristol Bears lock Joe Joyce have agreed to join Gloucester ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Cam Jordan is set to leave Gloucester at the end of the season, making a move to Newcastle Red Bulls.
