Gloucester vs Sale Predictions - Gloucester backed to end winless run

I am backing the hosts to get their first win in 10 Premiership games by covering the -4 handicap.

Sale have won their last three matches against Gloucester. Earlier this season Sale beat Gloucester 24-10 at home.

Gloucester are struggling to get any momentum this season and are currently ninth on the Premiership table. They have managed just two victories in their 11 Premiership games to date.

The season started well as Gloucester won their opening two games in the Premiership but have since lost nine on the trot. Their last Premiership game ended in a 17-10 loss at Bath.

Since then, Gloucester have however won twice in the Challenge Cup. They beat Edinburgh 21-20 away from home before thrashing Castres last weekend 35-5 at home.

Gloucester are also missing a couple of international players but are not as affected as Sale.

Sale have had a good season to date but have dropped off in recent weeks. They were top of the Premiership table not long ago but currently find themselves fifth.

The Sharks beat Saracens 22-20 in the Premiership just before Christmas last year but then suffered defeat at Northampton and at home to Bristol. Their form didn’t improve in Europe as Sale went down 31-24 to the Stormers in Cape Town before suffering a 37-24 loss at La Rochelle.

Sale have lost some key players to international duty and are also not in great form.
