Saracens vs Exeter Predictions - Chiefs to get close in Rugby Premiership

I however fancy Exeter to get inside the seven-point handicap.

Saracens did the double on Exeter last season but when they met earlier this season, the Chiefs won 65-10 at home. The game took place in mid-October 2023, so Saracens were missing a host of players due to the Rugby World Cup.

Saracens have struggled this season and currently sit sixth on the Premiership table. They have already lost five games with just six wins.

Sarries have lost two of their last three Premiership games to Sale and Leicester, both away from home. They did beat Newcastle at home as well.

In the Champions Cup, Saracens were well beaten 55-15 by Bordeaux in France, but the English champions bounced back to beat Lyon 39-24 at home last weekend.

Given their poor form, Saracens need to get a string of strong results to get back into the title race. With no fresh injury concerns, I expect a strong side to be selected.

Exeter Chiefs are currently fourth on the Premiership table, winning six and losing four of their 11 fixtures. They are four points clear of their opponents on the table.

The Chiefs won two of their last three Premiership games with their only defeat coming at home to table topping, Northampton. In the Champions Cup, the Chiefs beat Glasgow Warriors 19-17 at home.

Last weekend, again in Europe, Exeter will never in the game against Bayonne, losing 40-17 in France.

This is a huge match for Exeter as an away win will put them in the title mix.
