In round one, the Bulls beat Ospreys 53-40 at home after being down at the break. Conceding 40 at home will be a huge concern for the new coaching team. That was followed by a scrappy 39-31 win over a weakened Leinster side in round two.

At the weekend, in their first away game, the Bulls were very poor, losing 28-7 to Ulster. The second half performance was atrocious despite having numerous internationals available for the game.
