Edinburgh are 11th on the table but still have plenty of time to make the top eight. They are only two points off eighth, so reaching the quarter-finals is still within their capabilities.

After losing to the Scarlets and Zebre in late January and mid-February, Edinburgh bounced back to beat Munster 34-28 away from home. Admittedly, neither side was anywhere near full strength as the Six Nations was on the go at the time.

Last weekend, Edinburgh came up short in Italy, losing 21-18 to Benetton. That result could haunt them later in the season, but they can put that to bed with a big win here.

The Dragons may be at the bottom of the table but Edinburgh won’t be taking any chances. They will want a bonus point victory here to put themselves closer to the top eight.

The Dragons have endured yet another woeful season in the URC. They are rock bottom of the table with no chance of ending anywhere else.

With only nine points and one win from 13 fixtures, the Dragons are 18 points behind Zebre who are second from bottom. The last time the Dragons won a game was on 15 December 2024 when they defeated Newcastle in the Challenge Cup.

Since that game, they have lost eight games in a row, including a 34-30 defeat to Ulster at home last weekend.
