Glasgow Warriors are the defending URC champions, but they dropped down to finish fourth in the URC this season. They won 11 of their 18 games ahead of this quarter-final clash.

While the Warriors are generally strong, particularly at home, their confidence has taken a knock of late. They have lost their last three games in the URC and four of their last five overall.

A fortnight ago, Glasgow did, however, put in a good performance against Leinster away, losing the match 13-5.

The Stormers come into this game full of confidence with their form close to impeccable. They rushed to a fifth-place finish after a stellar end to the season.

The Cape Town side have won six of their last seven matches, their only defeat coming in a 38-34 loss away to Ulster, a match they also should have won after leading 17-0 at one point.

However, concerning for the Stormers, their last four games all ended in wins, but they were also all on home soil. They do not have the best record on their European travels and have never actually won a URC knockout game in Europe.
