The Lions lost to the Bulls away in their last game but did beat the Bulls towards the end of last season. But, with both sides at full strength, I fancy the visitors to cover the -4 handicap.

The Lions are enjoying a decent season with four wins and five defeats in their nine URC matches. They are 10th on the table and still very much in contention for the playoffs.

The Johannesburg-based outfit were on a superb five-match winning run not long ago but have now lost their last three matches. A 13-3 loss in the Challenge Cup away against Montpellier was followed by a disappointing home performance against Ospreys, losing 38-28.

At the end of January, the Lions lost 30-28 to the Bulls away from home. It was an impressive performance at Loftus and one they will want to turn around this weekend.

The Lions are likely to select a side similar to the one that lost in their last fixture against the Bulls.

The Bulls are currently fourth on the URC stable with six wins from their nine matches. They are on 30 points, four points off top and have the best points difference (+140) in the competition.

The Pretoria-based outfit have won their last three matches in all competitions. They beat the Bristol Bears away in mid-Jan which was followed by a 46-40 home success against Bordeaux in the Champions Cup.

At the end of January, the Bulls beat the Lions 30-28 at home in the URC. It was a fixture the Bulls should have won more comfortably, but a late comeback saw the Lions get within two points.
