Fiji scored a solitary try in the first half against Australia last weekend, going into the break trailing 14-5.

Fiji closed the gap on the Wallabies in the second half, scoring a converted try and two penalties, but came up short, losing 21-18. 

Before that result, Fiji beat Japan 41-17, lost 57-17 to Scotland, defeated Wales 24-19, and Spain 33-19 before losing 52-17 to Ireland in their last five fixtures. 

Fiji have been playing solid rugby in recent seasons but got thrashed by Scotland away from home in the Autumn Series last year, although their opponents will be without some key players.

Scotland scored three converted tries and a penalty in the first half against the Maori All Blacks last weekend, going into the tunnel with a 24-12 lead at halftime.

Scotland added a try to their tally in the second half to register their first victory over the Maori All Blacks, winning 29-26.

Scotland finished fourth at the 2025 Six Nations Championship. They defeated Italy 31-19, lost 32-18 to Ireland, lost 16-15 to England, and beat Wales 35-29 before losing 35-16 to France. 

Scotland will fancy their chances against Fiji after their recent performance against the Maori All Blacks, and their emphatic victory against their hosts towards the end of last year, although they will be without some key players.
