The Junior Springboks have shown incredible form at the U20 World Rugby Championship thus far while Argentina have struggled, even in their two victories. However, this is a semi-final, so I do think the Argentines can get within the 25.5 handicap.

Coming into this Championship, the Junior Springboks were not thought of being one of the top contenders. However, they have hit top form at the tournament during the group stage.

The baby Boks put 70 points on Australia before beating defending champs, England by 70. In their final group game, South Africa U20 put another 70 points on the board against Scotland.

Argentina U20 Form

Argentina U20 have proven that they can be competitive against top sides, but they are very inconsistent. They lost all three games in the Rugby Championship earlier this year.

In their opening group game, the Junior Los Pumas side beat Wales 34-27 in a very competitive game. That was followed by a narrow 33-30 win over Spain.

In their final fixture of the group stage, Argentina lost 52-26 to France. They looked good on attack but defensively they’ve not been great at the tournament.
