South Africa U20 are strong favourites for this game but they will rest some key players given their two victories already. I am backing Scotland U20 to lose comfortably but get within the +34 handicap.

South Africa U20 struggled earlier this year during the U20 Rugby Championship where they lost to both Australia and New Zealand. They beat Argentina U20 to secure third place.

However, at the U20 World Rugby Championship, the Baby Boks have been in sublime form. They thrashed the Junior Wallabies 73-17 in their opening game, a result very few saw coming.

At the weekend, the South Africans saw off defending U20 champions, England 32-22 with a cracking performance. They Junior Springboks went into the game as underdogs but came out of it with many talking of their title credentials.

Scotland U20 Form

Scotland U20 have struggled not only this season but for a few years now. Their depth at age-level seems to be deteriorating, which is quite concerning.

During the Six Nations, the Scots put up a few strong performances but could only manage a fifth-place finish. They began the World Championship with a 56-19 loss to England.

In their last game, the young Scots were more competitive against Australia but still went down 34-24. They will, however, take heart form that performance.
