The 2027 Rugby World Cup fixtures have been announced. The tournament will start on 1 October 2027 with Australia as the hosts.

Many expected the opening game to be the blockbuster between Australia and New Zealand but instead, it is Australia vs Hong Kong.

The change in format, which now includes a round of 16, means that all games will take place on weekends, with a few scattered-on Mondays. The round robin stage concludes on 17 October with the first KO matches taking place on 23 October. The final will be played on 13 November 2027 in Sydney.
