Brumbies vs Reds Predictions
As usual between these rivals, I expect a tightly fought encounter. However, at home I expect the Brumbies class to show through. Value is on the -6.5 handicap for the hosts.

Head to Head
Brumbies have won five of their last six matches against the Reds. A month ago, the Brumbies beat the Reds 39-26 away from home.
Brumbies Form
The Brumbies made an inconsistent start to their season but have hit some good form in the second half of the campaign. They are currently third, just two points off the Chiefs and Crusaders above them.
While it will take a slip up from the top two in the final weeks to see the Canberra side get into top spot, that is not beyond the realm of possibilities. With five wins from their last six games, the Brumbies are in fine form.
During that period, the Brumbies only defeat came at home to the Hurricanes. They beat the Highlanders at home, the Reds away, the Waratahs at home and the Force away last weekend.

Reds Form
The Reds made a strong start to the campaign and while they have dropped off a bit, they still find themselves third with a game in hand on those around them. However, the Reds are seven points off the Brumbies so a win here will simply move them closer.
At home the Reds have been good, bar for their 39-36 loss to the Brumbies in mid-April. They, however, bounced back from that loss to beat the Blues at home before losing by three points at Fijian Drua.
Last weekend, the Reds put in a strong performance to beat the Waratahs 28-21 in Sydney, forcing the Tahs’ to take their first defeat on home soil this season.
